Oh my goodness--pressies!!!

Wow! You wouldn't believe it, we had such a pile of 'boxes' waiting for us on our return to Canberra!

Thank you sooo much to you all: opening pressies took us back to our wedding day and we relished it all over again. It was lovely to read your notes and thoughts with each gift. You are all very special to us! :o)

Thanks also to those of you who donated to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre - every little bit helps them out.

We've been so flat out since getting back that we've had very little time to thank you all individually - a thousand apologies! We will be getting in touch with you in the coming weeks, now that things seem to be slowing down (touch wood)...

Take care and a big hello to everyone! xxx ooo

Hi

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre has recently updated its website.
I notice that you have blogged about us in the past, and I would appreciate it if you assisted us in promoting our new site by adding a link to us, or blogging about us again.

Of course, we welcome you to visit www.asrc.org.au to see our site for
yourself, but if you prefer we provide some text to use in the link,
please find it below:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aid for Asylum Seekers and Refugees - Asylum Seeker Resource Centre -
www.asrc.org.au

The ASRC is the largest provider of aid, advocacy and health services
for asylum seekers and refugees in Australia. Our team of 700
volunteers work directly with asylum seekers (over 3000) both living
in our community and in detention, to provide direct aid and support
as they seek refugee status in Australia.

We also campaign and lobby on behalf of asylum seekers and all
Australians who want to change the and unjust asylum seeker and
refugee related policies Australia has adopted. Most importantly, at
times of despair and hopelessness, we are there to offer comfort,
friendship, hope and respite.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

regards

Bevan Clark
Website manager and volunteer
