The preparations are almost complete...!

15 sleeps to go!!! Some updates to the list below...check it out...

Only 5 weeks to go until the BIG day! Simon and I have been arranging things remotely with the WONderful help of our families back in WA - cheers guys, we think you're great! :oD
I'm looking forward to seeing all our lovely family and wonderful friends again soon for what is tipped to be THE partee of da year!!! (I can say that in full confidence that there is a huge group of ROCKERS attending, otherwise known as our motley mates!!!)
So checklist time is here:
1. Wedding dress - GOT
2. Shoes - GOT
3. Simon's suit - GOT
4. Funky shoes - GOT
5. Best men - GOT
6. Ladies in waiting - GOT
7. Father of the bride - GOT
8. Celebrant - GOT
9. Venue - GOT
10. Food - GOT
11. Music - GOT
12. Rhythm - GOT
13. Melody - GOT
14. Photographer - GOT
15. Wedding rings - GOT
16. Flowers - BOOKED
17. Newly weds hovel - BOOKED
18. Tables n chairs, marquee n lights - BOOKED
19. Napkins - in progress (ta Christine!)
20. Wedding blog - GOT!
Looks lilke we're all sorted! Oh, our flights are booked to actually get there too! Still to do:
1. Hire car -- Cars now hired...gone with the slick-looking Audi A4, hopefully in charcoal grey (pity not in black!) from Europcar in Perth....tasty!
2. Ask Jules to MC ;oP -- Jules is so keen it's fanTAStic! she's happy to be known as "Master of Ceremonies" too!!
3. Order tableclothes -- Bunbury Steam laundry are braving the gravel roads out to hidden River to drop of crispy white linen for us - grouse! They drop off Thursday then pick up following Thursday.
4. Tea (for tea ceremony) -- Aunty Josephine in Sydney is arranging some lovely tea for us - can't wait!
5. Drinks (mainly beers to do) -- Staying local and ordering our beer from Manjimup. Going with some local + Singapore beer! We'll surprise you! ;oP
6. I said food we've got, but menu still to finalise and produce to finalise too. But all good and close to done! -- Menu is now finalised! Simon, with Phil and Sandy have done a great job! We are putting otgether a menu for everyone including a wine list. We'll put this on the tables. Tim's got some half-wine barrel so we can fill them with ice for the beer. We've also got some cider from The Cidery in Bridgetown. Big thank you to Pat and his team there! :o)

Feel like things are going too smoothly - wonder when(if?) the bubble will burst??! maybe we picked up some good kharma on the way or something!
Having an e.e. cummings poem as one of the readings...hmmm, who to read it?
