Ceremony stuff and things...

We really only need now to finish up our ceremony. We've sent a draft thorugh to the celebrant, and probably need to do a final sit-down with it and put the last touches to it.

I think we have some lovely readings there: an e.e. cummings poem, a Kahlil Gibran passage and a passage from Anam Cara by John O'Donohue. I gave this book to Simon for his birthday when I was living in Ireland back in 1997/98. It's a beautiful book. The Gaelic title translates to 'soul friend' - nice huh!

Only 23 sleeps to go!!!

Yes! We're almost there! =oP

I must admit that we're pretty organised...spoke to my mum earlier tonight and she's really into the spirit of things! Sounds like Mum and Dad had a day of organising things yesterday what with ordering flowers, arranging the pig (for spit) and beef roasts as well.

Tim's been able to get us some sausage from his mate Eddy which is great because he had run out himself! Same batch as his too he says!

We've been working on our ceremony. Trying to not slip into cliches! So far so good. Thinking about music too...Damien Rice? Jeff Buckley (hubby number 2!) or Joan or Janis?!!

News on the side...Bede and Tamara have bought a house! Yay! It's in North Pinjarra and has a pool too! ;o) Good work them. They move in in March.
